Circuitree

High Energy will establish its own cryptocurrency, called Circuitree, designed to support the unique needs of our village. Circuitree will serve as the backbone of our community’s economy, encouraging fair distribution of resources, active participation, and collective growth.

Purpose & Vision

Circuitree is designed to be a cryptocurrency accessible to all residents and visitors, built on its own custom blockchain with smart contract capabilities. This will enable decentralized, secure transactions for everything from weekly stipends to the purchase of village goods and services. The currency will also support automated processes like task payments, governance voting, and project funding.

Circuitree will evolve based on the village’s collective input and priorities. Its Proof of Elapsed Time (PoET) consensus mechanism ensures that contributions to village life—rather than wealth or computational power—are what sustain and validate the network.

Stipends

Each resident will receive a weekly stipend of Circuitree, which can be used for purchasing essentials (such as compostable toilet paper) from the village’s supply dome. This stipend will be tied to satisfactory completion of weekly work hours or contributions to the community, encouraging active participation in village life. The stipend will start modestly during the first twelve weeks, at 450 Circuitree per week, and will increase to 720 Circuitree per week once the initial period has passed.

Inventory

Inventory management will be made more efficient by using Circuitree for internal transactions. For example, when residents collect supplies from the dome, they will use their Circuitree to make purchases. This process will automatically track what has been taken and what needs restocking, minimizing the need for external supply trips and allowing us to secure wholesale prices for necessary goods we cannot produce within the village.

Proof of Elapsed Time (PoET)

Time-Based Contribution:
Every resident is randomly assigned opportunities to validate based on how long they’ve been active (involved in village life, contributing to tasks, etc.). This rewards consistency rather than intense but short-lived effort.

Village Participation:
Validation eligibility could increase the more integrated a resident is into the village’s ecosystem—this could be measured by their participation in tasks, attendance at meetings, or engagement in events. This encourages steady involvement over time.

Equality of Opportunity:
Since the selection of validators would be randomized based on participation time, everyone—regardless of wealth or access to high-powered technology—has a fair chance to contribute to the blockchain.

Non-Technical Contributions:
Instead of requiring proof of hardware or wealth, validation opportunities could come from non-technical contributions, such as managing community projects, creating art, or teaching others skills. The goal is to recognize that all types of contributions help maintain the community.

Smart Contracts & Participatory Governance

With Circuitree, smart contracts will enable:

Stability

We are committed to fostering a stable, flourishing economy within the village. Circuitree will maintain internal stability through features like:

External Exchange

In the early stages of the village, Circuitree will focus on internal uses to prevent speculation and maintain economic balance. However, as the village grows, residents will have the option to:

A Community-Driven Currency

Circuitree is built around the idea of collective ownership, economic sustainability, and empowering residents. It reflects our village values, promoting balance, creativity, and shared prosperity. Regular community forums and governance meetings will allow every resident to have a voice in shaping Circuitree’s future, ensuring it evolves to serve the best interests of all.

Privacy

Built-in privacy features (like zero-knowledge proofs) will ensure that private transactions, such as inventory management or non-public income, are protected while still maintaining transparency in governance and collective decision-making.
