Our offerings include:
All of these activities will be priced fairly, utilizing Circuitree, the village’s dedicated currency. Dates, durations, and specific details for these activities will be collaboratively decided upon as needed. The possibilities for creative endeavors are vast, reflecting the innovative spirit of our residents.
In addition to transactions using Circuitree, we will also accept popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Safecoin as payment options for products, tours, meals, and donations to support our fundraising efforts. This multi-faceted approach ensures that we are well-positioned to thrive financially while fostering an inclusive and dynamic community atmosphere.
- Wage Categories and Ranges: We will determine various categories into which tasks are likely to fit. Each villager will then independently submit what they would accept as a range of pay for each task category through token-based supermajority voting. The voted wages will become the pay ranges for their respective categories.
- For example… the category is cleaning… Half say they would accept 20-30 Circuitree… the other half say they would accept 40-50 Circuitree… so we go with 30-40. Any jobs posted in this category must now adhere to this set range.
- When determining wages, the highest amount will be limited to the decided maximum amount one can gain from a particular task.
- Dynamic Wage Adjustment: Every six months, a wage review will occur to reassess the pay ranges. Villagers will vote on necessary adjustments using crypto tokens, keeping wages responsive to inflation and changes in task difficulty.
- Token-Based Voting on Wage Adjustments: Residents will propose and vote on wage adjustments for each job category, ensuring fairness and consensus.
- Task Matching Algorithm: To streamline the process, a task-matching algorithm will suggest tasks based on a resident’s skills, availability, and interests, maximizing efficiency and ensuring the right people handle the right tasks.
- Task Prioritization & Notifications: Urgent or time-sensitive tasks will be automatically prioritized, with notifications sent to residents. This ensures important tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Task Progression: Once a task is selected, it will be moved to a “pending completion” list. Upon completion, it will be then be moved to a “pending inspection” list.
- When a task is completed and moved to the “pending inspection” list, the inspectors for that week will be alerted and presented with the ability to coordinate with one another.
- An organizational (notification, communication, coordination) system will be set in place specifically for inspectors, for the sake of efficiency and sanity.
We will use decentralized governance methods, such as Quadratic Voting and Holacracy, to ensure fair representation and consensus-driven decisions.
- Choosing inspectors: Villagers will be listed in chronological order, from oldest villagers (those who have lived in the village the longest) to newest. The first three on the list will be the first inspectors. Every week, the next three on the list will be chosen. When we reach the end of the list, we start again from the top. Provided the population of the village isn’t divisible by three, this should also result in some variation between the groups of three.
Acting as an inspector also counts towards required weekly hours.
